Incarcerated women send us book request forms asking for literature on subjects ranging from fiction and nonfiction to education, self-help, and hobbies. Our volunteers fill the requests as best we can from our library of paperbacks donated by generous people like you. If funds allow, we may purchase high-demand books such as dictionaries and GED study guides. We package the books, two per request, and include a personal note and a new order form so it’s easy to order again. Finally, we deliver or mail the packages to the prison.
