Book Drive at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church to Benefit Free Read

Grace Chapter of Daughters of the King is conducting a three-week book donations drive to benefit Free Read. We accept gently read paperback books for our program serving women in Arkansas prisons. Unfortunately, we cannot accept hardback books. The most frequently requested topics are crafting, self-help, journals, dictionaries, and GED study materials.

Catherine Langley (pictured) provided the first opportunity to give books on Sunday, January 31, after church service. Generous parishioners filled her SUV’s trunk with donated paperback books. Additional opportunities to donate will be provided after the 10:30 service on Sunday, February 7, and Sunday, February 14, from 11:15 until 12:00 noon.

Free Read constantly needs paperback donations and/or ecard gifts from Amazon from donors like you! For more information about giving, email freereadwomensprisonbooks@gmail.com or click here
